Description:
Shield for RPi equipped with a 2.8-inch color ILI9340 TFT display with a resistive touch interface, GPIO connector and four buttons.
The board includes the STMPE610 display controller that communicates with RPi using the SPI bus and then engages the corresponding pins of the GPIO connector (SCK, MOSI, MISO, CE0, CE1) in addition to the GPIO25 and GPIO24 pins.
The four additional buttons on the board are connected to the GPIO23, GPIO22, GPIO21, and GPIO18 pins.
All other pins are unused and can be used for other needs.
The display has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, with a color depth of 16 bits.
The shield can be used to redirect the console, or as an X monitor to display the Raspbian desktop, photos, videos and graphical user application interfaces.
Notes: The board is not included.
